A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST

The paintings, graphics and photographs you see on this website have been created by me, Stanislaw Fernandes.  As owner of my images, each image is protected by the copyright laws of the United States of America as well as by the applicable International copyright laws.  This protection is extended to the rights of my clients who have purchased the reproduction rights from me for their specified use.  All the paintings and photographs which are displayed on this website were scanned directly from my original work that I had created and are the only true representation of all of my original works.  Any changes made to a copy of my original work, whether it is in whole or in part, is strictly forbidden.  I would never grant permission to anyone to alter any portion of my original images, This includes unauthorized changes made to the copies of all of my published works.

It has also come to my attention that I have been credited for works which I did not create.  I have been given credit for images that were created by other artists as well as for works with components of my work, wholly or partially.   No permission was ever granted by me nor by anyone representing me to use my name erroneously.

CLIENTS’ RESPONSIBLY FOR SAFEGUARDING ORIGINAL IMAGES

No permission would ever be granted to anyone to infringe on the reproduction rights of my clients. Equally my clients and their representatives are responsible for the protection of my original images from any form of misuse.  The transparency or digital copy of my original images that were/are provided to the client are for the purpose of reproduction under the terms of the release agreement.  Furthermore, clients are responsible for preventing any misuse of the original images and are responsible for the return of the transparency/digital copy after use, or destroying the copy immediately after use.  My clients are also responsible to seek remedy for any copyright infringement of their rights by any unauthorized third party.

It should be assumed that any misuse of my work in the manner described above is in violation and may be prosecuted for copyright infringement.
